Appointment of the next Bishop of Bristol – getting involved

Do you want to play your part in helping discern who our next Bishop will be?
Please come to an open meeting to learn about the role and process; to pray and to share your views as part of the consultation.  A meeting will be held in Chippenham Deanery at St Andrew’s Church Chippenham at 7.30pm on 12th October 2017 (coffee from 7pm).

You can also send you thoughts directly to the Diocese as they want to hear from as many and as broad a range of people as possible and are asking us to submit your views online. The online questionnaire focuses on three areas for comment:

  • What impact do you want the next Bishop of Bristol to make to the Diocese as a whole?
  • Which of Bishop Mike Hill’s qualities do you think the Diocese needs for the future?
  • What other qualities do you think the next Bishop of Bristol will need?

You can submit your own views individually or gather a group together to pray and discuss the qualities and impact you hope for from the next Bishop before making your response.
