As you may know, the role of Assistant Curate is a training post, which lasts for between 3 and 4 years. My family and I will have been in the Greater Corsham and Lacock team for 3 years this July, so the time is right for us to think about moving on. I’m delighted to have been successful in applying for the post of Vicar of Wroughton and Wichelstowe, which is a parish that straddles the M4 south of Swindon. We anticipate that I will be licensed in Wroughton in the middle of July.  In the interim, I have committed to covering for Revd Janet Anderson-MacKenzie (Box, Ditteridge and Colerne) when she takes a period of Extended Ministerial Development Leave after Easter. This means that I will be away from the Greater Corsham and Lacock Team from Easter Sunday until 10th July, probably returning for one Sunday before I’m licensed in Wroughton. My family and I will be sorry to leave you all behind, however we’re not going too far away, so hopefully we’ll be able to keep in touch! Phill.

Please do pray for Phill and the family as they prepare for this new chapter in their lives over the coming months.
